The size of a tile is an important choice when it comes to tiling. The more popular tile size for a shower is 4x4”, but you can also purchase larger tiles at 4x6” or 6x8, or go even higher with “panel” style tiles that are larger still. You might also be tiling your bathroom floor at the same time. If so, it is recommended that you use a larger ceramic floor tile size than in those used in your shower. This is because floors take up much more space and smaller tiles leave lots of grout lines on your floor, which can become actually become quite unattractive over time.
